Let’s face it – Adults are big kids at heart, and we want to celebrate our birthday with family and friends too.  This is a great opportunity to reconnect with family and friends you have not seen throughout the year, well because…. we know “life” gets in the way.  Your birthday celebration does not have to be elaborate, consider planning a dinner party or wine tasting, or a game/trivia night with a group of close friends.  No matter how you want to celebrate – it’s your day, so make the most of it and make some memories.

The first step – Event Consultation

This is a FREE consultation to discuss the event service type that best fits your budget and the type of event this will be (milestone, surprise, family party, etc.).  Do you have any family traditions you want to be included?

The Planning & Coordination Services:

  • Budget
    • You should start with the budget because it impacts almost every detail of the party.
  • Theme
    • Will this be a surprise or milestone (20th or 50th birthday) party? Themes should be consistent throughout the party, so try to incorporate it into food, décor, and invitations.
  • Date
    • Picking the date can be tricky, so try to plan in advance. Choose a date far enough in advance so people will be able to mark their calendars.
  • Venue
    • The most cost-effective venue to choose is your own house or backyard. If you have it in your budget and you are celebrating a larger birthday, you should consider holding the party at a separate venue like a restaurant, bar, or hotel.
  • Guest List
    • If you are planning your own party, you will know who to invite, however, if this is for someone else or a surprise, make sure that you check with them (or someone close to the guest of honor) to see who they want on their guest list. Keep in mind your guest list will affect your budget.
  • Invitations
    • If you have a theme for your party, consider making invitations that match to the theme. Online invitations have grown in popularity, just remember not all of your potential guests may be as tech savvy as you, so mailing out invites may be more appropriate (it’s also easier to stick on the refrigerator as a reminder).  Good rule of thumb is to send invites out at least a month before the party.
  • Food
    • It’s never good to have a party with hungry guests. For a larger party, consider doing your birthday party food options in a buffet style so that everyone can get their own food. It allows people to feed themselves when they want, so you don’t have to worry about it.
  • Party Favors (optional)
    • Send your guests away with something to remember the party.

Services start at $250 for 8 hours of planning and coordination plus materials (materials include: food, décor, party favors, etc.) You can be as involved as you wish, I am happy to customize the celebration to meet your needs and budget.  Ready to get started?  Call Tina at 414-436-1128
