Introducing Events with Tina

I am excited to announce the launch of Events with Tina, an event planning service dedicated to family & fun!

I have had a passion for event planning for some time now, since I’m in a transitional period I thought this would be a good time to pursue that passion.   My experience in event management originated during my past employment as a Human Resources Generalist. My duties often included organizing corporate events including picnics, holiday parties, employee training,  and college career fairs.  I have been a volunteer Chairperson for the City of Cudahy 4th of July committee, and a board member for both the Cudahy High School Football & Baseball Booster clubs.

If you have every been around me or my family, you know my family gets together on a regular basis to celebrate just about anything, anniversaries, birthday, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, graduations, house warmings, and of course the holiday all creating wonderful and cherished memories. It wasn’t until my husband commented about how often my family got together to “celebrate”, that it dawned on me that not every family celebrated like we did.  I have four sisters, we are all married with children, therefore, there is a lot going on in the family throughout the year, I believe the only month during the calendar year we do not have a birthday, anniversary, or holiday is April.

When faced with the news of my Dad’s pancreatic cancer diagnosis and the inevitable, everyone in the family (immediate and extended) found time to visit him whether it was just to talk or share stories, but everyone made sure to take a picture with him, why you may ask, to capture that moment in time, the ultimate goal was to make memories not just for him but for us.  In the end, each one of my sisters and I were able to create picture boards for the funeral full of cherished memories we shared with my Dad.  The morale to this little story is that in the end all we have are the memories we make and I don’t know a better way to accomplish that except to host and attend events.

I hope you will consider hiring Events with Tina for your next event.

Don’t Forget to CELEBRATE EVERYTHING!
