The 1st day of school may have arrived for some already, others it’s just around the corner. With Covid-19 still hanging over our heads and the debate over “masks” or “no masks” the 1st day of school will come with some anxiety no doubt.
I personally do not like to wear a mask; however, I understand that school administrators have been put in a tough position when it comes to making the final decision as to whether to require students to wear masks when they return. If your school district has opted to require face masks, help your student by accepting their decision and try to make wearing a mask fun.
One way to make wearing a mask a little more fun is to give your child design choices or personalize their mask with a favorite character, superhero, pet, or message.
